Hints

If you are looking for weather station data, make sure that you include station as one of your keywords.
if you are looking for a particular variable, the variable name should be included in the search.
if you would like more guidance in choosing data, please look at Datasets by category.

Place Name Search

Most of the data in this catalog is stored by numerical location; much of it is global. Thus searching by place name is pretty useless in most of the datasets. However, there are weather data stored by named stations, like the NOAA Monthly Station and the NOAA DAILY STATION data, and searches by name are allowed there.
